Just wanted to do a quick update before Christmas storms up on me - it's going to be a busy week for me! I still have some last minute gift shopping to do, and the tree and decorations aren't even up yet... oh, darn you procrastination!

I'll start of by wishing everyone happy holidays. For those of you I don't know personally, what do you celebrate during this joyous season? If you didn't catch it before, I celebrate Christmas with my family.

As for art related news, I had a little slump the past few weeks, so there isn't much to put up. However, the other day I did do a still life, so I'll be putting that up at some point today. I also did sketches of my kitten Jack, but she doesn't sit still long enough for me to get a full drawing. So that is a possibility, but no guarantees.

I'm still working on getting my college applications in, but unfortunately my former teachers don't seem to see the importance of me getting letters of recommendation. I need two, and you'd think it wouldn't be so difficult to reach that quota. But I didn't get to know my high school teachers as well as others, so acquiring these letters is going to be quite the feat. However, I have one down, one to go. I suppose if I get another before the end of January I will be satisfied.
